The Marketing area of the University of Mannheim represents the marketing discipline in research and teaching in the core fields of marketing management, marketing strategy, and consumer behavior. Professors (Homburg, Kraus, Kuester, Stahl) and researchers of the marketing area strive for excellence in research and in delivering relevant and cutting edge insights in the classroom. The area produces a solid output of scholarly contributions to the discipline positioning the area in the top rank of all marketing departments in Europe. Several of our faculty have won research awards, teaching awards, written textbooks, and also hold leadership positions in the school.
