Amadeus Bach was born on January 14, 1990 in Bensheim, Germany. Prior to his studies he completed a two-year apprenticeship as a banker. He finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration at Goethe University Frankfurt in 2014 and subsequently proceeded with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Goethe University Frankfurt. During his studies he interned at several companies across diverse industries and multiple countries: Deutsche Bank AG (Frankfurt am Main), Boehringer Ingelheim (Ridgefield, CT, USA), Mercedes-Benz (Beijing, China), KPMG (Frankfurt am Main) and DZ BANK AG (Frankfurt am Main). Furthermore he gained valuable experience as a teaching assistant at four different chairs at Goethe University Frankfurt.

I chose the University of Mannheim because of its outstanding international reputation and the excellent possibility to discuss academic work with world class researchers in a highly professional environment. Furthermore the structured program at GESS with normative, analytical, empirical and methodological courses as well as practical writing seminars provides me with an excellent foundation for my future career.
