Daniela Schmitt acquired both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing at the University of Mannheim. She spent two semesters abroad, one at EDHEC Nice in France and the other at HEC Montréal in Canada. During her studies, Daniela gained practical experience in online marketing, pricing, e-commerce and business development at well-known, international companies in the industries of fast-moving consumer goods, consulting, retail and automotive. In addition, she experienced the research environment as a student research assistant at the Department of Marketing I at the University of Mannheim. Since December 2013, Daniela is a PhD student at the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics at the University of Mannheim. Her research focuses on digital marketing. She is particularly interested in the pricing and consumption of digital products.
