Jie Bai was born in Shandong, China, in 1986. In 2011 she received double master degrees; one was in Management Science and Engineering from Department of Industrial Engineering at Tsinghua University (China) and another was in Production System Engineering from WZL at RWTH Aachen (sponsored by DAAD). And for the bachelor’s degree, she majored in Mechanical Engineering and Automation in Tsinghua University. The internships in First Machinery Manufacturing Corporation (Baotou, China), Continental AG (Frankfurt am Main, Germany) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Takasago, Japan) offered her the practice experiences and the impression of different types of production organization in different kinds of countries. She also worked as TA in three courses in Tsinghua University. Her research interests are in the field of organization management.
