Why I chose the University of Mannheim and in particular the GESS

I think the structured program of the GESS at the University of Mannheim provides a unique opportunity to learn and research in a vibrant academic environment. Further, I like the idea of acquiring in-depth methodological skills and content-specific knowledge before starting off my own research.
