Why I chose the University of Mannheim and in particular the GESS

The international reputation of University of Mannheim in the domain of academic research is well known. The key factors in choosing University of Mannheim were the structured PhD program it offers, match of research interests with the faculty members and the opportunity to get the guidance from some of the best professors and researchers in the world during my PhD. At Erasmus University Rotterdam, I also got the opportunity to talk to some of the alumni of the program and the honest feedback I got from them made my decision to continue my PhD here a bit easier.
