Stefan Greppmair was born in 1990 in Munich, Germany. He graduated in 2014 from the University of Tübingen with a Bachelor degree in International Business Administration, focusing on Finance and Econometrics. During his undergraduate studies, he spent one semester at the Universdad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires. From 2014 to 2016, Stefan studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management to receive a Master degree in Finance and worked as a research assistant for the Finance faculty. In addition to his studies, he completed several internships in consulting, trading and investment banking.

Why I chose the University of Mannheim and in particular the GESS
I chose the PhD program at the University of Mannheim because it is outstanding in terms of reputation, in-depth theoretical preparation for academic work and top-level applied scientific research. This combination convinced me that the GESS would be my number one choice in order to successfully continue my way in academia.
