Andrey was born in 1992 in Moscow. He received the Bachelor degree in Economics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia, in 2013 and the Master degree in Economics at the University of Bonn, Germany, in 2015. During his Bachelor studies, Andrey spent a semester abroad in the University of Münster, Germany, and attended a summer school in the State University of New York, Canton, NY, USA. During the second year of the Master program, he worked as a tutor for the Mathematics for Economists course. The area of Andrey’s research interest is Macroeconomics. His Bachelor thesis was dedicated to econometric analysis of the consequences of the WTO accession and his Master thesis addressed the impact of the Hartz reforms on the structure of the unemployment.
Andrey currently receives a scholarship from Stiftung Geld & Währung.
