Dimo was born in 1993 in Linz, Austria. He completed his bachelor studies in economics at University of Mannheim in 2015. His bachelor thesis analyzed the effect of trade liberalization on economic growth. During his bachelor studies, Dimo went on the ERASMUS program and spent a semester abroad in Madrid at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He also attended a summer school at the London School of Economics.
Continuing his master studies in Mannheim, Dimo decided to switch to the Mannheim Master Research track as a fast track to the PhD program. His master thesis was centered around the inference quality comparison of different time series models in small samples.
His research interests lie in the fields of macroeconomic time series analysis and international trade. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his friends, climbing and exploring different countries.
