Enrico Camarda


Enrico was born in Italy in 1987, he holds an BSc in economic and social sciences from Bocconi University, during his BSc he went on an exchange programme to the University of California Santa Cruz and worked on an BSc thesis having Prof. Tito Boeri  as supervisor (the BSc thesis was an empirical work in labour economics). He also holds an MSc in economic and social sciences from Bocconi University (final grade 110 out of 110).  His MSc thesis was on quantitative methods to estimate antitrust damages in an abuse of dominance case in the US, having Prof. Chiara Fumagalli as supervisor. Recently, he graduated from a master in Competition and Market Regulation from Barcelona GSE with a final work on innovation-enhancing mechanisms for orphan drugs. Before this master he worked for two years and a half in the Economic Consulting team of Deloitte LLP in London, while at Deloitte he worked on a variety of competition and regulatory projects in telecom, energy, water, retail banking and health care. Furthermore, at Deloitte he had the opportunity to work in both UK-based and international projects for Governments, regulatory bodies and multinational companies. His research interests are in applied microeconomics, empirical industrial organisation and regulation. He is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish. He is fond of archaeology and the classics.
