Felix was born in 1990 and grew up in a village close to Mainz, Germany. He received a Bachelor degree in economics from Maastricht University and spent a semester at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. After gaining some work experience in financial development and in the economic research department of a bank Felix decided to join the graduate program of Centro de Estudios Monetarios y Financieros (CEMFI) in Madrid. During his Master studies in Spain he spent some time working as a research assistant for Ulrich Wagner at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Felix' main fields of interest are health and environmental economics. In his free time he enjoys cooking, dancing and playing the guitar.
