Why I chose the University of Mannheim and in particular the GESS
The PhD program looked very well structured and interesting. Also, the department has very good professors in the fields I am interested in (i.e. Microeconomics, Industrial Organization).
The best part of being a doctoral student here
I really like the fact that the program is always opened to improvements in the organization and courses. Professors are reachable and kind.
A description of my fellow doctoral students
Very serious and hard-working people.
My most challenging experience within the program
I have not had many experiences so far, since I am starting the second year. However, the first semester was really tough and demanding. It was a real challenge.
My advice for prospective students
Get acommodation before coming to the city, it is pretty difficult.
