Gregor Sieber was born in Hassloch, Germany. He has been employed with Lufthansa for more than a dozen of years, his current responsibility being the development of a revenue management simulation tool for use in training and research. Holding a diploma in mathematics from University of Kaiserslautern, Gregor spent the last three years studying economics at Bachelor and Master level in Heidelberg and Mannheim. 2011 he graduated from Mannheim with a M.Sc. degree, writing his thesis on the estimation of the impact of credit card reward programs on the choice of payment instruments. Current research interests in economics are decision theory, finance, and industrial organization. In his leisure time, Gregor enjoys reading, playing bridge, listening to classical music, playing the piano, and cycling.
