Inken was born in 1990 and grew up in Schleswig-Holstein. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Mannheim, while working as a teaching and research assistant. Afterwards Inken spent a year working on empirical research projects at the University of Zurich. Inken entered the CDSE through the Economics Master Research Track and now works as a teaching assistant at the chair of Prof. Hans Peter Grüner. She is interested in political economy, public economics, family economics, and market design and she enjoys both, theoretical and empirical research.
