Johannes Dittrich


Johannes Dittrich was born in Zittau, Germany, in 1987. He studied Economics at the Dresden University of Technology and the University of Mannheim from where he received his Bachelor of Science in 2011 with a thesis about “The Distribution of Drugs in Germany”. After starting his M.Sc. Economics studies at the University of Mannheim he joined the CDSE through the Master of Economic Research program. Johannes is interested in health economics, public economics, resource and energy economics. Besides his bachelor and master studies he worked as a teaching assistant in Finance, Management Accounting and Public Finance. He gained first insights into economic research during an internship at the Ifo Institute for Economic Research, Dresden. In his free time, Johannes enjoys playing soccer, skiing, snowboarding and photography.
