Lukas was born in 1990 in Leonberg (Germany). He received both, his bachelor’s degree in International Economics and his master’s degree in Quantitative Economics from the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen. His Master Thesis was part of the DFG funded project “Econometric Analysis of the wealth structure and wealth distribution in Germany” ("Ökonometrische Analyse der Vermögensstruktur und Vermögensverteilung in Deutschland"). He obtained first experience in economic research through his work as student research assistant for Professor Oded Stark and as student research assistant at the chair of Statistics, Econometrics and Quantitative Methods. His research interests lie in the fields of (micro)econometrics and applied microeconomics.
