Timo (born 1990) has been a Ph.D. student at the CDSE since 2016. In 2014, he finished his B.Sc. in economics at the University of Tübingen (Germany). In 2012, he spent one term at Brown University (USA). In Tübingen, he worked as a research assistant in Econometrics, and taught classes in statistics and Econometrics for first- and second-year students. Before joining the CDSE, he graduated from the University of Oxford with an M.Phil. in Economics. His research interests are in Macroeconomics and Econometrics. He gained practical experience in research during internships at DIW Berlin (Forecasting and Macroeconomic Policy) and Deutsche Bundesbank (Banking Supervision and Regulation), as well as in the private sector through an internship at Deutsche Bank (Parameter Validation). In his free time, he enjoys music (choral singing), running, and spending time with friends.
Timo currently receives a scholarship from Stiftung Geld & Währung.
