Yasemin was born in 1992 in Germany. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Management and Economics from the Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz in 2014. In her thesis, supervised by Prof. Dr. Thosten Schank, she did an empirical analysis on the labour supply of women taking different relationships and living situations into account. During her Bachelor studies she worked as a student research assistant at the chair of Financial Economics of Prof. Dr. Schnabel. In fall 2014 Yasemin enrolled in the master’s program at the University of Mannheim and joined the CDSE through the Economic Research track. Her research interests lie mainly in the fields of econometrics and applied microeconomics.
