Why I chose the University of Mannheim and in particular the GESS

I chose the University of Mannheim because of its excellent reputation and the strong focus on research. My own research is related to knowledge and findings of other disciplines, therefore, the interdisciplinary setup of the GESS strongly appealed to me.
