Oke Bahnsen, born in Niebüll in 1991, studied mathematics and economics/politics at the University of Kiel and the University of Gothenburg. In his master thesis he formulated an agent-based model of political opinion dynamics and empirically tested this approach with survey data of government satisfaction in Germany. From 2014 to 2017 he worked as research assistant at the Chair for Applied Political Economy in Kiel and at the Chair for Political Systems in Chemnitz.
