Simon Ellerbrock is a research associate in the project „German Longitudinal Election Study (GLES)“ at the Mannheim Center for European Social Research. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Heidelberg and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Goethe University Frankfurt. Furthermore, he spent a semester at the University of Warsaw, and attended courses on quantitative methods at the National University of Singapore and the University of Essex. During his studies he worked as a conflict analysts for the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research and a as a student assistant at the Chair of Empirical Democracy Research at the Goethe University Frankfurt. In his Master’s thesis he validated the use of Multilevel Regression with Postratification (MRP) for the estimation of attitudes among religious minorities.
