Best paper award for Moritz Hess

Congratulations to CDSS doctoral candidate Moritz Hess for winning the 2016 best paper award for his publication 'Expected and preferred retirement age in Germany'.

The article looks at expected and preferred retirement ages of older workers in view of the fact that over the last 10 years the German pension system has undergone several reforms including the abandonment of early retirement policies and an increase in the statutory retirement age.

The prize is awarded by the German Society of Gerontology and Geriatrics e.V. and is endowed with 1000 Euro prize money. It is open to young scientists working in social and behavioral gerontology whose contribution must be an already published first author article.
