CDSS Alumnus Daniel Heck recognized as APS Rising Star

We are delighted that Daniel Heck has been selected as a Rising Star in the Association for Psychological Science (APS). APS Rising Stars reflect the best and brightest of young academics in psychological science whose innovative work has already advanced the field and shows great potential for their continued contributions.

Daniel Heck's research focuses on innovations in statistical methods and cognitive modeling of processes underlying decision-making, memory, dishonesty, and social desirability. After studying psychology at the University of Mannheim he obtained his doctoral degree at the GESS. Daniel currently works as postdoctoral researcher for the DFG - funded Research Training Group 'Statistical Modeling in Psychology'.
