CDSS doctoral candidate Adam Scharpf receives 2017 Stuart A. Bremer Award
Adam Scharpf is the recipient of the 2017 Stuart A. Bremer Travel Award. The Award is presented by the Network of European Peace Scientists (NEPS). It seeks to enhance the exchange of scientific findings between young European and American Peace Scientists. Each year one European graduate scholar is invited to attend the North American conference of the Peace Science Society. Adam receives the Award for his paper on the political and military determinants of US foreign military training 'Dirty Skills - Guerrilla Wars and Military Training at the School of the Americas'.
