CDSS PhD candidate Benjamin Engst to visit Emory University for research on judicialization of politics
To what extent do judges at constitutional courts shape politics? Studying the political effects of constitutional courts the CDSS student Benjamin Engst has received a PhD Scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to visit Emory University, Atlanta (USA). This private research university is one of the hot-spots for research on Judicial Politics. Benjamin will visit the “Laney Graduate School” and continue his studies on constitutional and supreme courts at the “Center for the Study of Law, Politics, and Economics”
