CDSS Young Scholar Award 2016
Congratulations to CDSS doctoral candidates Felix Henninger and Pascal J. Kieslich, the winners of the 2016 CDSS Young Scholar Award.
The Young Scholar Award is meant to honor exceptional ideas and achievements in doctoral research, and to support professional activities that advance the professionalization and networking of young scientists.
Their proposal "Making advanced methods accessible to the Social Sciences: Free, open-source and validated mouse-tracking software for laboratory and online use" impressed the selection committee. The prize money of 2000 Euro will go towards the further development and validation of their tools as well as conference visits where they plan to present their work within this project.
We wish both of them continued success with their current and future research projects!
